NMB Bank's CSR
19, Apr 2012
On the occasion of World Heritage Day, NMB Bank's Social
Initiative Fund organised the 'Bhadrakali Temple Cleaning Programme' in
association with Kathmandu Metropolitan City under its corporate social
responsibility (CSR). On the same occasion, the bank also announced to organise
a nationwide inter-school heritage painting competition, to take the heritage
preservation initiative to the school level. The modality of the competition is
in the final stages as the bank is trying to tie up with a renowned art gallery
to support the technical side of the event in order to make it a grand success.
The event is tentatively scheduled to take place in May in Kathmandu this year,
while the bank also has subsequent plans to take the inter-school heritage
painting competition to the next level by inviting schools from SAAF countries
from next year onwards. |
