Kathmandu,31-May-13,Jamb Daily News Service Stock market of Nepal gained modest during the review period of this week. Error in the last trading has been identified which enable exchange to update its site in next day only. System error has been the tradition of the exchange as system which is currently been used has crossed the maturity. The benchmark Nepse index added 1.03 points to settle at 500.22.
Banking sector accumulating the heavy volume of trade in Nepal Stock Exchange lost diminutive of 0.42 points to 495.14. Manufacturing sector lost double digits of 15.98 points to close at 865.67. However insurance sub-indices added sufficient of 28.35 points to 907.78 which inclined the index for most of period. Hydropower sector moved higher by 5.74 along with 2.03 points up in development bank to 1036.12 and 254.24 respectively. More...
